*  Oral appliances work by repositioning the lower jaw,
 tongue, soft palate, and uvula, thus stabilizing the lower  
  jaw and tongue to increase muscle tone and maintains     
  an open airway allowing for improved breathing.

*  Oral appliances must be prescribed, fitted, and evaluated
 by a dentist trained in these criteria to allow for effective
 treatment.

*  Your dentist must work closely with your sleep specialist
 to ensure the proper results are achieved with your oral
 appliance.

*  Oral appliances are found to be comfortable to wear and
 cause minimal side effects.
